This recipe calls for a sour cream topping which is really good and does not have a very strong lemon flavor like some of the 666人体艺术. I did not have any sour cream, so we ate it without and it was still very good.
Here is the recipe-
Shortbread Lemon Bars
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel (I don't put this in)
1 teaspoon grated orange peel (I don't put this in)
3/4 cup butter or margarine
FILLING-(we double this)
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup flour
2 teaspoons each grated lemon peel and orange peel (again, I don't put this in)
1 teaspoon baking powder
TOPPING-
2 cups (16 oz)sour cream
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
By the way, did that picture at the top look familiar to you? For some reason the middle of the pan is better than the edge!

I will have to try that recipe. We like lemon bars here too. and yup! The middle is always better. i could never figure out why someone would buy those brownie pans with all of those edges so that everyone could get the outside.
